I liked it better than the first one, even though the battle system falls way too much on the use of witch time and umbran climax, it’s still fun and the levels are better contained and have less gimmicky sections. The story is a little bit better but still a little irrelevant, the music and graphic design is a lot better too.

oh my. what happened? the combat is so much duller, the story is boring as hell and has to lean super hard on the awesome writing in 1, and worst of all the new bosses are all samey and godawful. there's so little true spectacle in this game once you finish the first mission. i have no idea how they could've dropped the ball this hard. just a terrible terrible follow-up to one of the best games ever made.
