I wanted to like this because the idea of a Lego puzzle game sounded really fun. The controls were simply abysmal, unfortunately. The game only took about 90 minutes to complete, and a good part of that was me accidentally placing blocks roughly two pixels off their designated spot so they fall into the void instead, or placing a block I was trying to rotate. With more polished controls that utilize more than a single button, I think this could have been a fun experience, but unfortunately, what exists in its current state is awful.

Nice soothing game in which you build with legos. Unique, simple puzzle experience.

I was a LEGO kid. I love LEGOs, theres something about the act of building things that has resonated with some deeper part of my personality and greatly impacted my creative existence - and so its actually kind of surprising how few LEGO video games actually let you build something piece by piece. Builders Journey, in basically every way you could look at it, is a love letter to LEGO and what LEGO represents. Small building puzzle dioramas rendered in minimal and luscious fashion, sporting a simple but touching lil story of adventure and assembly, resembling the small box sets you might crack open on a quiet Saturday afternoon in August maybe 25 years ago, when a couple more unique parts for your own toolbox was just as important as whatever fun structure the instructions taught you how to make. It means so much that, while the puzzles are incredibly simple, their solutions are not always strict; you can still over- and under-build to your creative hearts content.

Most importantly: Its also kind of boring sometimes. Interesting in concept, austere in practice.

Lego Builder's Journey is a short but cute puzzle game using Lego bricks. It's very endearing and fun to play, the puzzles aren't too hard but tricky enough that you sometimes have to think a few times around before you manage to solve them.

The RTX makes the game look stunning, and the low frame rate caused by that isn't noticable most of the time. However if you notice that the game does run worse or your graphics card gets too hot - you might wanna turn it off (it is on by default!).

The gameplay is a bit physics-based, thus the placement of certain bricks can sometimes be a bit finnicky. But it is something you do get used to throughout the game. The story is told through the environment that you build, it's pretty cute and perhaps not too deep but it's there and it add to the games.

I definitely recommend this if you're a fan of LEGO or honestly just a puzzle fan in general. I'd love to see more LEGO games from this studio in the future!

Fun lil puzzle, honestly worth playing just for the sound of clicking Lego bricks
