little fairy gremlin (we know the allegory) makes cool guy her errand boy

probably the worst rpg i ever played. big surprise

I liked it for the first hour and hated it for the next nineteen. Vacuous writing, repetitive combat, repeated dungeons. Seriously, what's up with the dungeons? It doesn't bother me that the game makes you revisit most of them after the loop—that trick goes back to Final Fantasy VI. No, what bothers me is that four dungeon layouts are reused—one twice!—with no explanation. Sure, there are texture changes, but the geometry is the exact same. Oh, and every side quest requires you to go back to the very end of a dungeon. Talk about padding!

My favorite Idea Factory/Compile Heart game!

thx op i cum on fairy she hiss at piss

pretty underated rpg.
I LOVE the mechanics. its super fun, the music is so hype.
I love this game so much, its so good. its super different from the neptunia series but its made by the same creator. grinding in this game is fun, the bosses are pretty hard if you don't level up of course. and there's different things that could happen, characters end up living if you're in a certain level, and you can recruit them and that didn't happen for me. but for my first playthrough I ended up doing the goddess route. and got the tiara ending because she's neat. I'll probably do the vile god route when I have the time. the game's 20+ hours long. you really got to take your time on it.

First let me get this out of the way: the switch version is garbage. Play this game somewhere else.

As for the game itself.... it's fine. It's okay. Inoffensive even. Just like with a lot of Compile Heart games, it's only really appealing to a certain niche. I don't think I'm one of them. For what it's worth, I did like the character designs.

I've finished this on both PS4 and PC, I'd count this as the best Non-Neptunia Idea factory/Compile heart game. I really, really like this game and Ethel is ADORABLE

Starts fun and easy going, the combat system is engaging enough, i bought it for $7 and got 10-12 hours of fun before giving up so i'd say that's worth it if you want to kill time.

My main problem with it was that the quest system es broken, you can retake quest to get rid of excess items BUT after a story threshold some items simply won't ever drop again, and the game doesn't tell you that!

There's an in-game monster guide that shows you the drops (but no location, wich is annoying as well) and it's useless because it does not update pass the threshold! not to mentioned said threshold makes your engagement with the first part of the story very much inconsecuential.

It's pretty funny and has a great soundtrack, but don't play it for gameplay. If anything, play it on easy and skip out on the sidequests.

I like the combat system in concept, it's pretty similar to Kuro no Kiseki in that you move around and pick positional skills while still being turn based but this system just feels contrived and inaccessible. On the hardest mode I was basically just destroying everything with ability spam but when bosses were hard it didn't feel like there was any interesting strategy I could do to beat them, only grinding or relying on RNG. Might be a skill issue, and I might revisit the game at some point.

Also a lot of the quests just want you to get materials that have completely random and low chance to drop.
