This is the greatest arcade racer ever made forza horizon eat my fucking SHORTS I LOVE YOU SEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God the vibes are impeccable, as you blaze past tons of scenery in a cool car, blasting tunes and trying not to crash at 300kmh. Perfect summer game (with patches), even if the drift is pretty scuffed.

Kinda fun, kinda dumb, not my style, but im cool with it.

I loved the hell outta this game, my favourite OutRun game to date!

Brilliant music, beautiful visuals and amazing gameplay with immense replayability.

Loved it. Too bad I busted up my PS2, making it impossible for me to replay any games until I buy a replacement :(

I love this game so much.

- Great Music.
- Great Gameplay.
- Top notch drifting mechanics.
- Lots of replayability.

The only thing I'm not the greatest fan of is the rather specific methods needed to unlock Missions from the Ladies compared to the flagman, plus a butt-load of money is needed to unlock everything.

At least you can put in a money cheat easily.

one of the best arcade racers to exist

it doesn't get any better than this.

Excellent arcade romp, nicely captures the spirit of the original OutRun. Cruising through paradise in an incredibly fast car with catchy music - a wonderful vibe that never gets old!

This version introduces unlockables and a campaign style mode with various challenges and races, and unlockable cars, music, etc. Some of the challenges are frustrating at times but it's a great way to make your time with the game more purposeful, though ultimately I think the best experience can be found in the arcade style modes.

Ideal para partidillas cortas, con nuevos modos y nuevas remezclas que hace el juego en si una maravilla.

Que jogo bom, depois que você entende a mecânica de drift tudo fica melhor.

You get to drift Ferraris and listen to Magical Sound Shower, what more could you want from a game

Ok, I'm completely sold on arcade racers now. This game is incredible.

the UK is warming up, and as such i thought i would play a sunny game to match that. outrun 2006 absolutely nails the hedonism and escapism. what it lacks in the variety of mechanics you get to work with present in other arcade racers, it makes up for in style, summertime vibes, and a great batch of memorable tracks and music. keeping things simpler really pays off here, even if it does lead to the game feeling a teeny tiny bit monotonous. the various modes are fun on their own, however can get a bit repetitive if you're playing through the campaign.

impressing your girlfriend through comitting various acts of heinous vehicular ABH never gets old, and i love how every rank you can score on these levels has a different reaction image. very fun to try and see them all. ignoring the special place in hell reserved for the spudnet-brained dingmush that created the abominable shitecunt nightmare hellfucks that are the 'keep above the speed' and the 'photograph the sights' missions for jennifer and holly respectively, there's rarely a dull moment while playing this game. great arcade racer and i will be returning to it soon to try out outrun 2 sp.

The drift mechanic was something I had to get used to (I should have checked the manual first) but as a whole the game is pretty fun overall. this game rewards you over time with unlocks but I don't find myself feeling motivated to try and go for them honestly

Ferrari and SEGA together are like milk and honey. The only other game I can think of which celebrated a vehicle brand like this is Need For Speed Porsche, even if it doesn't have any trivia infos and it's as arcadey as it gets, it's still a great homage to this great brand.

The particular Coast 2 Coast version has some additional content from cars to levels and such. Levels are a nice change of pace and you'd have to earn credits to buy some particular models you want (360 Modena my beloved)

Drifting needs a bit of practice but once you get the gist of it, the handling model is super satisfying. Unfortunately the second half of the driving missions are so unforgivingly difficult, mostly the ones with ai opponents; they have a very intense rubberbanding. Which is unsurprising considering the fact that this is originally an Arcade cabinet game.
