neurodivergent people's worst nightmare

Simcity 2015 WISHES it were this good. Such a great game

I remember this game being REALLY GOOD and that you could even insert individual Sims into the city and hear their daily musings on the price of ketchup. Plus, there was such genuine reward in finally balancing out your income vs expenses.

Fantastic SimCity, my favourite one.

This was the first ever city management game I played. It was incredibly eye-opening to my little 9 year old brain of what was possible under the umbrella "video game". This game had really cool events and little touches unlike many of it's competitors. The soundtrack was also god tier smooth jazz vibes.

Really fun game in the city builder genre. Unfortunately, it runs pretty poorly on modern day machines. It's such a shame it's a pain to run because it mostly holds up pretty well otherwise.

fondly remember playing this as a wee lad. what i learned from this game is that every problem (such as citizens complaining about taxes) can be solved with meteors

Still the best city builder ever made.

Great memories. Always got to the point where economy would almost go in minus, and I would speed up the game to get some more income before building more. Perhaps too punishing at times.

It‘s a very long time ago when I played this, but I remember that it was good. And hey, atleast it didn‘t kill an entire franchise.

SC4 made some silly changes from 3000 that made it way easier but still a top tier city builder back in the day.

Me acuerdo lo jugue hace un monton
creo me diverti(?

thrashed it, play with mods

I remember this thing nearly made my computer take off when it first came out.

This game was awesome as a kid! I loved building cities and having sims living there. It was always fun to see what they say. "Commute is like a Sunday drive" or something about the Bermuda triangle when they can't get somewhere lol. I loved that it was kind of like playing the sims in a way. Mom wouldn't let me play the Sims when I was under 13 - not even just days before my birthday. But I could play this, no problem! (I get it, but it was very frustrating at the time. I'd play it when she wasn't around haha.) Back to this game, I'd always end up with a negative budget since I didn't really understand finances yet, I'd add on stuff too fast and not make enough revenue. I loved being able to shape the land the way I wanted and cause disasters when I wanted. I remember setting off volcanoes on a few cities before I started building and then build on top of it.
