Now why is this blatant and pretty shoddily constructed Fall Guys knock-off weirdly a bit fun at times. It has a lot of problems, with an extremely limited number of game modes that will repeat often, not to mention the pay-to-win slap emote that will grants its bearer way too much power, but it's funny that this has had a steady life of its own with some genuine cross-marketing brand partnerships like Hot Wheels and Rabbids. Stumble Guys isn't good but it might give you a few chuckles.
Games I Like That Everybody Else Dislikes
Look, does this do some things better than Fall Guys? Yes. Does it do some things worse? Also yes. But even if you're willing to excuse it being a blatant ripoff (at this point I am tbh), its cheapness is impossible not to see. The minute-to-minute gameplay is breezy and fun even despite having that 'mobile game ported to console' feel - but did there seriously only have to be one fucking song? Like really... just the one? For every goddamn game?? Refreshing not to have boring, shoddy creative rounds taking precedence here - but like the weaker seasons of FG a main issue is still lack of games in rotation. Get ready to play Speed Slider approximately 10,000 times! Shorter rounds feel like a fresh air breath after repeatedly playing through a lot of FG's more sluggish games, though. Still feels like its own thing, surprisingly, and is a good time for a handful of rounds. But let's be honest, the "Better than Fall Guys" crowd feel like Contrarian Copium™.

Stumble Guys is a shameless Fall Guys clone, shockingly it's more popular than Fall Guys, somehow. There is really no reason to be playing this over Fall Guys, it has worse graphics, it doesn't have that passion or charm in it at all.
And you can't even pull the argument of this being free, while Fall Guys used to be paid, it is now free on Epic Games, so there's quite literally no reason to be playing Stumble Guys over Fall Guys.
The only area it has covered is being able to be played on mobile, but besides that it's just a bad clone.
Overall: 3/10
