this DLC is weird because it has some of the best content in the game with its shrines, divine beast, and boss, but getting to that content is a bit tedious and involves doing some frustrating activities. also part of what makes botw feel so good is that everything is optional and you engage with stuff on your own pace, but to do the DLC, you kinda have to focus on just that content, which goes against the core gameplay loop of botw.

Started off really strong, ended kind of weak, and the bike was useless to me as I had already done almost all the exploring already. The game really needed something not Shrine related but thats like 2/5ths of the content on offer here.

Good DLC that expands the characters a bit more and has probably the best "dungeon" in the game. Gotta love the Master Cycle.

The Champions' Ballad's biggest accomplishment is what the base game struggled with the most - the story. It's nice to have context about the Champions and their relationships with Link. Outside of the story, The Champions' Ballad struggles with rehashed content (shrines, divine beasts) which isn't something I was hoping to see from a DLC for a very long game. The post game content, puzzles, and bosses however thrive as a result of being DLC, and I believe they provide some of the highest highs in the "Wild" duo-logy.

It's ok. As an expansion to the base game of BOTW it's a bit lackluster and definitely one of the weaker DLC packs to a game I've played over the years, but I at least enjoyed my time with it and it was a pretty consistent and worthwhile experience all the way through.
This DLC pack did remind me why I hate revali so much though

Same rating as the main game, because it's just more of the great base game, at the exact same quality!

Adds a lot of extra story to an already phenomenal game, but by the time you'd get to it in a launch-day playthrough, the rewards aren't nearly as sweet.

I loved this DLC it fucking destroys the game but that’s what makes it so cool. Master Cycle funny and I legitimately played the game longer because of it

Lo único guapo es la moto.

i like the extra champion's lore even though idk if it really amounts to much all things considered. the additional boss fights aren't anything special (except fuck waterblight), but that final boss fight was very unfun. would not want to do that ever again.
revali you are so misunderstood by botw fans

I really didn't like this DLC. I thought the first part was ridiculously unfair. Some of the shrines were unnecessarily difficult and I hated the one-hit part. The second part of it was then unnecessarily tedious and not fun. I loved the ending dungeon and thought it was probably the best in the entire game. However, I also disliked the final boss of the DLC. The dungeon really helped this content feel worthwhile.

Great game, not a great Zelda game. Dungeons felt too easy and there weren't many. The story felt empty and I missed being able to add items to my arsenal as I went. Also why can't the master sword just not run out of energy??

This score is only because of the bike

This was a perfect DLC. It had a bunch of difficult but cool challenges like the one hit obliterator and the 5th divine beast and rewards you with a bike that’s perfect for post game exploration

Very fun dlc that added a significant amount of playtime to the game. I wish aspects of the story were further expanded on, but the gameplay itself was a lot of fun. and the bike was a really cool bonus.

Nice way to end off BotW's story. Getting this DLC allows you to carry over a nice memory to TotK, which is definitely bittersweet.

Honestly improves the story ten-fold.
A must-own if you have BOTW, but only play it once you've beaten the game.

Difícil pra uma MERDA pra no final te dar uma moto. Péssima recompensa. Pelo menos as quests e a nova dungeon é legal.

One of the most nothingburger expansions Nintendo has ever released. Literally nothing meaningful happens in here. Yeah, the new shrines and dungeon are cool and all but get fucked if you give a shit about the Champions I guess.

Astonished they managed to make that divine cycle reward feel worth it after so much time already spent in this game. Thanks Monolith Soft.

Amazing DLC that gives you a reward that by the time you get it is completely useless, but the Obliterator and Monk fight was super cool

Vale más la pena que el DLC anterior, la moto está bonita, la historia está... está bien

The DLC is good but not amazing. I like it because it expands more on the story, gives you the motorbike, and gives you upgrades to the Champion abilities. If you want, I have a review of Breath of the Wild itself you can read to see how much I love the base game.

This DLC peaks at the very beginning with the annihilator, gets kinda boring in the middle with boss rehashes and mid ass shrines, then peaks at the end again with a pretty cool dungeon, boss, and reward.

Took me a while to finally come back to this game to play its DLC, but it was fun!

I love the champions and the upgraded abilities, but i need more content
