very charming and cool fighting game that's fun casually and has huge appeal to any longtime fg fan, but there is some absurd jank in it that really makes me not want to play it more often than not. a-groove and roll cancelling really hinder the game for me. besides that stuff, it's a fun footsies game with a great roster, though i wish there were a bit more hit confirms and special cancels to help round out decision making. would be great with a few balance patches (which makes it very good mugen fodder)

-2 respect if you play Sagat

this game actually fucks, played this w a friend n tried his fight stick it was beautiful fighting games are amazing and the ideas and style of this game are sick as hell

Now if they can include LESS Street Fighters, this would be a five.

This is still my favorite 2D fighting game.

A classic that I never grow tired of. An absolutely stellar cast, the Groove system provides a nice amount of varied accessibility, and presentation that has aided with making it timeless. I cannot recommend this any higher.

Quite possibly the most charming fighting game of all time and the sole reason why Capcom should let Itsuno make another fighting game. The groove system is a genius way to blend both Capcom and SNK playstyles (Including one that lets you parry like in Third Strike, dood.) Would be 5 stars if it wasn't missing both Kula and Alex.

Honestly what I would say is the closest thing we have to a perfect fighting game. Despite showing its age at times, it never fails to be fun with friends.

I rented this one time 2003 - 2009 idk the exact age I was but I didn't know wtf was going on.

Team selection: Chun, Morrigan, Blanka. Damn Blanka is oonga bonga.

Morrigan's portraits (both Capcom & SNK) are the best she ever looked. Too bad her sprites were stuck in the mid-90's.

Music slaps so fucking hard.

Played in Fukuoka G-Stage

I love this game so much I wish I was good at it

Sagat and Blanka are so silly

The best tag fighter ever

I'm real bad at fighting games but this was fun as a kid.

Can they bring this back, I wanna make true love again all the time

Yes ha ha Morrigan sprite, but this is an outstanding feat of balancing. Six selectable playstyles in conversation with each other over a staggering team-based roster, and still it feels like a footsies game.

This is another weird one. I don’t know how they managed to make it feel like I’m playing both SF and KOF at the same time (maybe bc they’re both 2D fighters), but this is amazing. Capcom and SNK crossovers are usually really good (minus SF x Tekken), but this is the best one by far.

Playing this with a GameCube controller shouldn’t be legal. It just doesn’t feel natural at all, but I do love the mechanics and character selection in this game. As a huge fighting game fan, I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a good 2D fighter with some cool depth. Just don’t play with a GameCube controller
