CRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY TAXIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

i remember adoring this game as a kid, unfortunately i made the mistake of playing it when i got older and it completely ruined my nostalgia...it just is not very fun to play anymore, which is a shame

An arcade game with just a single style of gameplay which is picking up passengers and dropping them off at different spots in two open world cities. The game's premises might seem very simple, but it still manages to make a very memorable experience with its vibrant colors, wacky collision physics, punk rock soundtrack and just an overall chaotic fun vibe.
The game has two modes called original and arcade. Arcade contains the city that was featured on the arcade version of the game and original contains the city featured in the later ported version of the game. Both cities look exactly the same, it's just that the layout is a bit different and maybe a few landmarks like train stations and waterways.
The game has bright colorful punk energy. The punk rock soundtrack by Bad Religion and Offspring probably makes it so. Along with the stereotypical passengers/drivers and absolutely fun car collisions that don't do any damage. Overall, this game is very fun, there's no story mode or campaign it's just 5-10 minutes of fun at a time but the game has a solid theme and personality.

fun arcade game to play with friends

diversión en vena. Muy poco contenido (aunque la versión de Dreamcast tenga un mapa original), pero tampoco hace falta. Skill ceiling altísimo

Crrrrrrrrazy the offspring songs and rush to the passengers

HEY HEY COME ON OVER HAVE SOME FUN WITH CRRRRAZY TAXI

Driving games at arcades are inherently great and amazing and worth every penny. Feel the wheel, the pedals, and the gearbox at your fingertips (and...toe..tips?) is so recognizable and yet gameified.

Crazy Taxi excels in its framing giving you more of an excuse to freestyle routes and regularly back up and brake hard. In a race you wanna forward and take the optimal line but the raw adrenaline derived from Crazy Taxi when you are approaching your destination and you slam your foot down on the brakes and rotate the wheel to slide into the spot is unmatched and unique to driving specifically an "arcade taxi."

crazy taxi presents a unique scenario: an arcade brimming with hidden mechanics that the game doesn't make an effort to tutor, yet these mechanics are vital for achieving a decent score. thus, without unearthing these nuances, reaching the end credits remains an unrealistic goal. nevertheless, the game maintains an uncomplicated initial approach, offering an enjoyable experience coupled with its wildly soundtrack. personally, i longed for additional content; the console release looks almost identical to its arcade counterpart, with minimal quality of life improvements.

Crazy Taxi is the most clunky game with cabs that you will see in your life, extremely fun and very moddable.

Gameplay
A time limit gameplay influenced by the player that needs to take as many taxi rides as possible, by selecting a character from 4 selections such as axel, joe, gena and gus. This game will make you hate the traffic as much like a real driver but here you are being indicated on where to go and stop the brake, I'm not a big sega fan and never was but some of their games are fun like this one, you also have variety between gameplay modes like original and arcade that also let's you select the amount of time you want to take, also you can modify the difficulty of the in the menus which is pretty good.

Conclusion
If you want a clunky game but very fun involving cars you can try this one, I also modded the game with a ADX encoder to modify the tracklist so it is pretty moddable in terms of music but never got around the models or anything like that.
