Still Playing
absolute gold ✨ i played this growing up when i wished that i could have a real dog, and now that im grown, have raised real dogs, and now realize that im 1000% a cat person, i still love this game 💕 i do have championship dogs, but i won’t rank this as complete until i have found the rare ✨jack russell book✨ my dogs — caramel the female corgi & dolly the female schnauzer

It’s like fishing, it honestly isn’t an experience you can explain, you just do it and enjoy

como eu não podia ter bicho em carajas, supriu 3% da minha tristeza

eu era criança e nao sabia a diferença entre o simbolo de macho e femea, entao eu tinha um cachorrinho chamado daisy

dogy (i can't remember playing this but there's no way a nintendogs game was ever bad)

solo sabía sacarlos a pasear y hablarles por el micro, pero iconic

Made me get a real dog (actually 10/10).

it's amazing how a simple pet simulator can have so much charm and effort put into it, but leave it to nintendo to make a game that would otherwise be shovelware into probably the best pet simulation game ever. so much content, a cool unlock system, tons of easter eggs and a great soundtrack by pikmin composer Hajime Wakai, I don't know who wouldn't enjoy this.

Tomogatchi if it didn't suck ass. My dog is better than yours.

My brother banished my puppy to the shadow realm :c

i have a puppy called aero on here who probably hasnt been fed in a decade:(

Just made me angry that I did not have a dog. (I have one now - she’s the best).

Frisbee tournaments, finding gold bars on walks, screaming dog commands at family events

This game had it all

This is probably one of the best pet simulators that has ever been released, as the quality of the product makes for a very replayable and enjoyable experience. However, this game is just a pet simulator and if you already have a pet then why in the world would you ever want to own this? Nothing about this is forgettable or bad, however, it is monotonous and boring at times, just like owning a real pet though that has the added benefit of actually being alive.

I guess this game is good for knowing if you'd like to own a dog one day, but other than that there isn't much to offer here for most people. At the very least, this "game" is competent enough for any person to pick up, understand, and play which was a great way to sell the console to a casual market.

As stated in the reviews below - this is a phenomenal pet simulator. The problem with that is most pet ownership is quite boring - made wonderful because of the emotional connection you develop with the pet. I can only care about data packets for so long before the illusion wears off.

lo siento firulais me pillo la pasma en 32 años vuelvo...

Cute game. Only thing that sucks is that I got it when I was around 8 years old, after someone swapped it with my 100% completed save file of Pokémon Rangers: Shadows of Almia

cute game, not the biggest thing ever but it's always kind of impressed me as a tech demo for the ds, seeing how detailed the puppy models were (similar to the PS1 demo discs with the dino etc)
