yeah im done with this game it just keeps getting progressively worse both in business practices and in the actual game itself byebye overwatch!! the latest sombra rework is what finally pushed me over the edge
Overwatch 1 was a fun game slowly ruined by poor balancing, a post launch competitive focus that led to hundreds of millions of dollars being wasted on the OWL and predatory monetising.
The new monetisation is no longer using gambling but still has FOMO tactics used through battle passes and limited skins. I also can't imagine having to start with only 3-5 heroes as a new player and play potentially hundreds of games to unlock chars.
The graphics are nice, overwatch style has already been pretty visually interesting and nothing has changed here, the lighting is nicer and most of the character designs are good.
Everything else is either as problematic as in OW1 or has been changed and is worse, don't waste your time on this awful product.

I think the fact that this game is still online and gets "updates" is an insult to the entire gaming industry. The original Overwatch died for a monetization update. Blizzard is terrible, this game deserves zero support, and I seriously truly from the bottom of my heart hope the people still playing this get help soon.

It's only good because it's Overwatch again which is an already fun game, but there is basically no real reason for this to exist especially considering the PVE (aka the MAJOR selling point for the very existence of this sequel) got canned
Took down Overwatch 1 after leaving it vacant of new content for years so they could shove in a new monetization system while still struggling to keep the game balanced while shoving new unsatisfying content on an unhealthy release schedule. Still monetized PvE after everything too.

Defiled corpse of one of my favorite online games of all time, complete waste of fun characters by a trashy greedy company. Game isn’t fun alone because of the balance, game isn’t fun with friends. Blizzard has no idea what they’re doing and it’s incredibly depressing to watch 2016’s best game be destroyed like this for money.

There was so much hype over this game I thought it would be decent but honestly at no point while i played this game did i ever feel slightly satisfied the gameplay is not fun and the mechanics are too complicated not to mention already a bad rep from the community

Bro what am I supposed to say about this game. On OW1 launch this shit was peak but it has fallen through cycles of being dogshit and goated ever since. Especially with the move to OW2 things have been tough but even then the game has still had some crazy moments. I know it's popular to hate on this game now but the success it has had is undeniable, I mean just look at all the clones we have gotten over the years, to the point where now even massive names like Marvel are getting in on it. Dogshit games (besides league) don't have that kind of impact.
