Total 3.5

Overall, this was a fun game. It's a lot like Bioshock, but with killer robots. One thing that drove me nuts were the little flying drones that would swoop in and fix all the robots you destroyed. This made you hurry through areas at times, plus I think they threw too much at you in the latter half of the game in the "open world" part.

i tried to finish this 3x its just so boring bro.. i tried

"caralho"

"Filha da puta"

"lataria"

jogo fraco demais.

Me - Can we have Bioshock
Mom - We already have Bioshock at home:

It could be great, but it's extremely mediocre.

The atmosphere is great, the graphics are great, the scenery is great, there are some good ideas, an okay story, and nothing more than that.

The core gameplay is simply bad.

The gameplay is tedious 80% of the time, with horrible open-world design. Combat could be good, but it mostly sucks. There are unnecessary puzzles, and sometimes it feels too generic...

huge deception...
i've been waiting for this game for years and i've never been so disappointed.
the "open world" aspect of the game is totally ruined by the enemies in the game who are totally omnipresent impossible to explore without getting attacked,we just pass the game to sprint in a straight line through the different areas of the game instead of exploring.
the game's story is juste bad, each character is absurdly mediocre, yet the universe seemed so interesting.
the only positive point I retained were the puzzles, which were rather nice, and the universe but honnestly once i finished the game i instantly forgot everything about it

I overlooked this game because some people were saying it was bad, but then a friend told me the game was actually good, so I decided to get it.

First of all, I loved the game, I don't understand the whole hate around it. I like the story, the visuals are pretty (worth pointing out that it has some beautiful scenarios out there), the soundtrack is fire, the gameplay and combat mechanics are fun (especially the glove skills part), and there's stuff to explore (a large open-world map I wasn't even expecting, I thought the game was going to be more linear). The game also offers you different endings, you have to choose who to trust.

Also, the twins are so iconic (and hot 😳)! I got intrigued since the beginning about what they were about, and what the story behind them was.

Oh, I can't forget, I GOT TRICKED UNTIL THE END WITH THE ENDING I PICKED! I wasn't expecting that plot twist!

The game has some great ideas but falls short with basic weapon play and clunky movement. The game has some amazing art and sound direction.

Would recommend it on sale and if you are interested in games with different takes on the world

6/10 not enough of the twins

The game is a fine Bioshock-like with nice world building and art design. All items and environments are carefully crafted and modeled with a nice retro-futuristic vibe.

The gameplay is okay, it has some interesting aspects such as the gun customization and powers, but the shooting and melee attacks sometimes feel clunky, specially considering how aggressive an "in your face" the enemies are. The never ending spawn of robots on the open world sections make exploration a chore, since you always have to be avoiding cameras and destroying the flying things that repair them if you want to have some peace. Movement is also not very precise, and you can get stuck into corners or little scenery items. And the "platforming" sections are not really polished.

Story is good, with the typical twists and revelations of the genre. Dialogues are a bit of a hit and miss though, with your character having some really awkward interactions. Voice acting is okay but it's really jarring how aggressive and "frat-like" the PC sounds.

Like I've said, art design is top notch and the music is also quite nice, mixing classical music with EDM.

I would really like to see a sequel where all these quirks are ironed out. The game has potential, but the gameplay is simply not up to par.

Main character is annoying and uninterested in the plot, level design is too backtracky and confusing, story tries to be interesting but ends up boring, but the combat okay.

i will pray to gaming allah everyday for filtering slopmaxxers with a gem like this

It's meh. It started pretty well, looking past the super long and boring intro, but once the character you're playing starts talking, you start to hate him. The gameplay also just feels off- dodges often do nothing in terms of saving you from hits and the melee mechanics are bad. It's just OK so far, probably never finishing this one unless something crazy happens. The open world made me put it down almost instantly, and I fear that's where the game was heading the entire time.

achei a gameplay meio chata, mas a dublagem é boa

while fun, the open outside area with the robots was not for me. the buildings were absolutely great though.

Atomic Heart has such a great atmosphere, and really fun gameplay. The character design, the bosses, the overall world you are in, is so fascinating, and ripe with story potential. But, the main character is such a blemish to this game, that it does hurt its overall score.

The main character is so annoying in this game, making quips every single second, now maybe he would be better if these quips and jokes were actually quite funny, but they aren't. They are just random, and make no sense. And are repeated, again and again, which gets tiring.

It really sucks, because a lot of this game is really good, it has good graphics. It has really good gameplay, it has a really cool world, but the main character just hurts this game so much.

With that, the enemies are so bullet spongy, and the Normal difficulty almost feels like the Hard difficulty for the game. Lot's of the side content is pretty mediocre, and not that interesting. I didn't find any side quests whatsoever, just little tasks you can do.

It's a good game, it's a very ''turn your brain off'' type of game, and just enjoy slashing up robots, and with that mindset it is good and fun. Just noise out the main character.

Overall: 7/10

Insignificant and dull. I already forgot I played this.

Sucked ass like nobody cares about the communists

Being totally honest... I finished this game in 2023 and I already forgot everything about it.

Achei que seria um jogo meio meme, mas me surpreendi muito com a historia e o visual do jogo, bem engraçado e com uma historia muito foda.
O combate acho q é a parte mais simples mas não chega a ser um defeito ou enjoar.
Nora melhor personagem.

I feel very proud of Russian developers! The real big game!

Gave this one a fair shot. Really liked the opening and the atmosphere of the game. Reminded me quite a bit of Bioshock. Once I started playing the game, it was fun and all, but it just wasn't drawing me in. I think I wanted more of a pure FPS, and the constant breaks and puzzles was just chopping up the flow for me. Maybe try it again one day, but for now, I'm done.
