As a kid on KBH games this was my bread and butter. I mashed out to this game. I absolutely love the combat. All the moves have weight to them and bruh launching a Kamehameha wave is beautiful! I don't think I ever got past the cell Saga, but bro from the hours alone I can tell you I love this game. I played it for years on years. 2015 isn't even the definitive year I started playing it because it really could have been 2014 or so. Either way, I played this game all the way through elementary school. This game has my heart. Because as a Dragon Ball Z fan back then who only had a Wii, their was no way my parents were gonna spend 70 bucks to cop Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (cheap by today's standard), so I was left with low specs emulation. Hencewhy, Supersonic Warriors became my Huckleberry. So, many fond memories.

This is a very good game. The core gameplay consists of flying around and attacking the enemy from different angles, creating different attacks. It is very unique which is rare to come by in the fighting game genre. Not only that, it is a succinct 2D representation of DBZ fights, possibly better than the Budokai series, as they take place mostly on the ground only.

It also has a good amount of content: a quick campaign of the DBZ story, as well as What Ifs for each character.

Dragonball on the GBA, good visuals, fun gameplay, many characters, iconic sounds and unique story modes. Multiplayer with friends was on another level too, i played this gem in the golden age of Dragonball Z, so everyone was apeshit for anything Dragonball related.

It's almost impossible to find such unique fighting games on handheld systems of this era so, although it feels kind of underdeveloped, this one is pretty good for what it is.

Eh, not as good as the sequel, but it's fine.

Mt foda fazer o modo what if com o kuririn e fazer ele aprender a usar a genki dama

TAIKETSU FOUND DEAD IN A DITCH

After dozens of DBZ games that just tell the story of the show over and over again (which, admittedly, this also does), it's incredibly refreshing to have "What If?" storylines like what the first Budokai had. I got to play as Frieza, massacring the entire Saiyan and Human races before blowing up the entire Earth while killing Cell! That probably doesn't sound like happy fun times, but it was just nice to have a different narrative! Very solid for a GBA fighter, looking forward to trying the sequel soon.

raw as fuck considering its on the gamecube

Gifted this by my grandma as a kid when I didn't know what dragon ball was. I've still never seen a full episode of dragon ball. Really tight fighting despite being on a glorified smaller snes
