Average, but with enough charm to make me feel positive about it by the end. In terms of the things I enjoyed, the sprite art is quite pleasing, and the music is surprisingly good. However, the movement speed feeds incredibly slow for the type of game it is, and it suffers the same fate as early 3DS or even DS games where the stylus is overused to the point where it slows down the game even more. Doing all of the side content--which involved replaying the same levels multiple times to find new characters to rescue or chests to unlock--took about 10 hours, so it really does not overstay its welcome. It was perfect for small sessions during a busy work week, but probably would not be worth any more than the $8 I bought it for.

I've always had a soft spot for Mickey Mouse, and the Epic Mickey games were certainly no exception.

Power of Illusion, unlike it's other console counterparts, is a 2D side-scroller that serves as a successor to the Genesis "Castle of Illusion" games. It's a simple little Mickey Mouse adventure that only took me 3-4 hours. As a kid, I hadn't fully played this one, but I finally rolled credits today.

This game is SLOW...and the slowness contributes to the moments where it can often feel unforgiving. Levels aren't too long, but it all moves as a snails pace. Mickey's move set is actually pretty great, but you won't find any sort of strategy between every move.

Furthermore hindering the already slow pace, there are moments where you can draw on the touch screen to remove or create objects and characters, frequently bringing the pace to a halt.

Just wanted to mention that I really love the sprite work in this game. It's not the most complicated, but seeing these Disney characters in this art style brought a smile to my face.

I did enjoy my time with this, but man does it drag.

I remember getting this thinking it would be like the Wii version and being extremely disappointed

I liked what I played as a kid, but going back, it's super slow

This game is pretty and it could've been pretty good if it was just a pure platformer, instead they did the thing companies always do when making games exclusively for Nintendo hardware, they shove whatever gimmick the console has into the game, in this case, annoying touch screen stuff.

THIS... IS MY POWER OF ILLUSION!!! GRAAAAAAH!!!

Googoogaga me enjoyed it at least so

Wollte als Kind eigentlich das Wii Spiel… Trotzdem spaßig.

Why can't you talk to Chicken Little dammit

This game looking back looks interesting.
