Fuzion Frenzy was an elite party game. Like Mario Party but only the minigames. The minigame content ranged tremendously, controls were punchy, skill-level varied. A super fun way to play on the couch with your friends. The Fuzion Frenzy sequel was significantly less fun due to several odd design chocies. But the original Fuzion Frenzy was a mustplay in my house during sleepovers or family game nights.

Every bit as fun as the other games of this ilk (Mario Party, 100% Orange Juice, Gang Beasts etc). It's a real shame Microsoft changed the developer from Blitz Games to Hudson (the developers of Mario Party). Fuzion Frenzy 2 was downright awful, with mini games that felt miserable from controls to design. The original Fuzion Frenzy is fun with almost every minigame requiring enough skill to allow skilled players to succeed and enough randomness to allow for twists and turns that let less skilled players win. Also offering such a wide variety of minigames that anyone with some level of gaming acumen could find minigames they were good at.

At some level I would consider acquiring an Xbox Series X just for the sake of being able to buy Fuzion Frenzy and play it again (since it's currently still available on the Microsoft Store, digitally)

Its a different flavour of Mario Party and its fun without a doubt. Like Mario Party, this game has you competing with others (couch-competitive or CPUs) across a plethora of mini-games. Some games take skill, some take luck, some take endurance etc. The characters dont affect the gameplay in anyway, but Dub was my guy.

Also, my god, the music was so hype and fitting for this games aesthetic.

HIP HOP YOU DONT STOP UH HIP HOP YOU DONT STOP YEAH

Some genuinely fun mini games. Bloated with too many similar ones, which makes it a lot less replayable.

I loved this game, and have millions of memories playing this with my family. 3/4ths of the minigames are fun. It's Mario Party without the board, and it's pretty damn fun

Fond memories of Playing this with family at Christmas times.

classic on my aunts xbox RIP aunt

“Fusion Frenzy” wasn’t great in its day and time has beaten it down even further. There’s barely any replay value here either. You can see all the game has to offer in less than an hour. Sure, it’s meant to be played with friends, but I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to stick with this in a party setting. There’s nothing here that’s visually appealing either. Literally the only reason anyone remembers “Fusion Frenzy” and that it got a sequel on Xbox 360 was because it was “Bill Gates’ favorite game”. I never took that sentiment seriously, but if it was true I hope Gates has acquired better taste over the years.

Once played it with my older brother and his friends while they were having a sleepover. They didn't go easy on me.
I never forgot 🙃

Jokes aside I vaguely remember it being really fun and at that point I had only ever played mario party for reference.

A mixed, but mostly good and fun party game. Really dig the Cyberpunk/Y2K asthetic of the game. Definitely guaranteed to have fun playing with a group of 4, but the biggest thing holding the game back are the somewhat boring character designs and the minigame selection. Playing through the main tournament mode, it's a toss up whether you get a good variety of fun and clever minigames, or really bad and boring luck where you'll get 3-4 game in a row that consist of taking an orb to a designated scoring point, but maybe you'll be paired up with someone arbitrarily sometimes. It's always fascinating how easy a Mario Party type game would be, but for some reason it seems that no other developers have ever been able to crack what Nintendo and Hudson perfected. As it stands, Fuzion Frenzy is fun to pull out for a game night, but replayability will probably come down to what Minigames you play that night.

Played this with my neighbor but he had to babysit his neighbors (mind you we were around 8-10 and they were like 4-6) and they would scream when they lost. Cool enough game though!

I am the king of twisted system and I challenge all who oppose me.

Also, zak it the back wack a lack attack. WINAGAME!

i legitimately cant tell if people dont like this game but i for one, loved it

Replayed it recently. Still a fun party game.

Mario Party by way of late-90s sci-fi dystopian movie set design.
