not sure how to rate this since i found most of the items by just speed-clicking interesting items across my screen. the artwork is cute but honestly the online levels are more creative, fun, and way less frustrating than the story maps

the kind of hidden object stuff i like most tbh, but i can't help but compare it to hidden folks, for obvious reasons, and that game does basically everything so much better - even if i kind of prefer having color, hidden folks just has so much more charm to its presentation?

hidden through time feels more rushed, akin to a cash grab, but that's maybe not fair... it's not like hidden folks is doing anything NEW, it's just doing it really well, and hidden through time is continuing that

ramble ramble, still good tho

Good, bit hard but that’s a cope for me

Where's waldo for the digital era. A relaxing game, though somewhat limited in scope.

Really nice and well executed idea. I actually enjoyed spending some time creating scenarios that no one will play.
It seems like there might be better similar games out there, but this one is fine.

I enjoyed playing through this one and no eye strain compared to Hidden Folks. It doesn't have the same charm from HF but it was still fun to explore.

It does seem short. My playthrough of the base game was near 4 hours. The doubled time was playing online maps. I do appreciate that I did not need the DLCs to see the newer content in the online maps but you're at the mercy of a player designing those maps. There are some creative maps; however, others were complete duds.

I would rather have well designed maps from the developers than drag my playtime sorting through online maps.

A cute hidden object game where you scour animated scenes for specific characters and items, click on things to see them animate, and even peel back layers of the scene to discover more details hiding inside structures or behind other objects.

I'm not sure what I was expecting going into this, but it is exactly what it says on the tin. It's cute for what it, the art is detailed and colourful, the animations are cute, but it's entirely surface deep and a bit too casual / simple for my tastes.

I think theres certainly more than one way to do the hidden object genre in video game form, but when something like Hidden Folks already exists and this game appears to be designed mostly as a vehicle to sell several extra map packs, it feels like this game was meant to be more of a low effort money making product than like an interesting and thoughtful experience.
