Generally, this is a more polished version of the first game. Everything has been refined and made better, with interesting new abilities and tools at your disposal. The one area that just fell off was the level design, which sucks because that's what made the first games of parkour so great. A lot of the time, there is only one real path to take to get to the objective, unlike the first game. This makes you take the same path every time, making the game a lot more stale than it should be. It really hurts the whole experience especially as it's an open-world game, where you expect it to be a lot more creative with its path taking. The story still isn't anything special and that's expected, but all the atmosphere is still there and in full effect. Although still a fun experience and more great Mirror's Edge, the lack of a great map takes the experience down a notch and makes this game a worse sequel.

Fun to boot up and run around, and the story isnt terrible, its just not good

lit but feels extremely linear

Absolutely loved this game, don't get why people are hating on it so much. The gameplay mechanics work so well and despite a lack of characters, the story is very interesting.

I'm sure it could've been better if it wasn't under EA after the 2010s

Like the original Mirror's Edge - it's fine, but it's a better idea than it is a game.

i 100%'d this but the story was pretty bland, although, as usual, i really enjoyed the gameplay and the side content

proper review will be added.

The world design is still beautiful, and Faith is still cool, but the open world aspect just doesn't gel. While doing short jobs fits the occupation of Faith well, they feel like the filler content they are, and it even lesses the positives of the main missions. Dropped 5 hours in or so. Perhaps if this was the first game in the series I would have beaten it, but it being a step back hurt too much.

adorei botou outro tipo de emoção

The gameplay was fun but a lil repetitive. Wish there was more gadgets to use in combat. The story was lowkey hard to follow but overall a good time for the short play time.

this game is weird and messy and visibly confused about its own existence but i will always always come back to it because there is no other game that really feels like this one does

A reboot after just one game should have rung the alarm bells for how unsure EA was about this IP, but DICE still managed to pull off a pretty successful open world freerunning game with a welcome focus on melee combat. It can be incredibly repetitive during it's sidemissions and the plot is nothing to write home about, but satisfying parkour action is often hard to find is such pure concentrations.

Igual me saqué unas 10 horas decentes, no me quejo

Mirror's Edge if it felt a little worse

I bought this game in its retail copy version back in 2016 when it couldn't even run properly on my laptop. A year after I built a PC and this was the first game I've played in it, and the game could finally run smoothly. I hyped for this game since its very first announcement, and honestly, I did not get disappointed. The visuals are nice, the story is amazing (although it's a reboot), it brings brand new mechanics that the previous game didn't have, and it's open-world!

Saw this game here on Steam in sales for a hella cheap price, so I decided to get it here as well. I have over 100 hours spent on the Origin version.

You certainly will spend more time playing this game compared to the first one, it has more content, a longer story, and exploration to do, not to mention the tracks created by the online community!

Amazing, so damn fun and holy shit i love vector for the ipod touch, and anuthing even close to doing a jump from one rooftop to another gets an instant 9/10 unless it has zombies u can be more creative than that

Lore wise its like muse level of fuck the goverment vibes, and characters range from homless bird man to less homeless man???

Amazing game with flaws i could give care less abt cause the motion blur makes the game look cool and u can run and jump like im smosh assians creed : D
