Mal feito e uma ofensa aos fãs do anime. Bandai Namco estragando tudo, como sempre. Gameplay mediana e história muito mal contada. Nem dá vontade de jogar o segundo.

Your typical anime arena fighter with some insanely cheap tactics and busted combo loops. Still had a blast with this one. The story mode is boring and the menus feel cheap, but playing it online is surprisingly fun!

You have normals and auto combos.
To do specials, you point the stick in any direction and press an attack. You are allowed to dash cancel once per combo. You get to bring 2 assists with you. That's the general structure and it's pretty fun to learn when to call assist or input the air dash to maximize reward. You cannot block in the air, you have to perfect block to do so (pressing block as soon as the attack hits). This just allows for some gross resets.

Shigiraki's "Countdown" grab is one of the most interesting grappler designs I've ever seen. If you land his lunging leap grab 4 times, the opponent is instantly K.O.'d. You can combo into it! Since it lunges forward, it is a fantastic whiff punisher. Certain assists will hold the opponent in place, allowing you to land command grab yet again!
Ok, so the opponent likes to jump away a lot, in fear of the grab. Since they cannot block in the air, they can't keep doing that either. What ends up happening is arena fighter footsies. Who's going to attack first. Really fun stuff, but I can see how that would turn people away.

Just a really lame game. Campaign sucks, and as a dub enjoyer of the anime, kind of disappointed when only Japanese voiceovers were in the game. The character roster is sadly very small too, especially when compared to the second game. Not worth it. if you want an MHA really badly, then get the second one.

Wife and I play this from time to time, there is replay-ability, this is less competitive compared to other fighting games pretty cool.

they invented a game where it’s not even fun to use the busted character and as someone who accepts low brow content that’s crazy. it’s really not that bad but there’s only like three stages that i actually like playing on and the general pace of the game feels clunky and sluggish more than anything. half decent time waster but i don’t really play fighting games so i wouldn’t know about the better alternatives that probably exist

Right off the bat I would not drop more than 10-15 dollars on this game. Its a fun game and it plays great but the content is not there. You can clear the hero story in 3 hours or less depending on your skill level and then you do have the villain half but I know not everyone cares about replaying fights from the other side. If you are a die hard MHA fan like myself it may be worth playing however this is a big however.
There is no dub at all. This is very important to someone like myself so the game itself was totally a drag for me as I just do not like sub. Especially for this series. The second game picks off right after this one so if you are looking to play that which does have dub and is a better game overall it may be worth it to play this unless you don't care or want to go off the anime.
This is a deep sale buy for sure don't pay full price it has nothing on games like the ninja storm series or even kakarot. And yeah the comic cutscenes are cool and all but when it comes to games that tell a story of an anime nothing beats in game cutscenes that actually go in and give you enough content to go off. ultimate ninja storm games can actually tell you the story of naruto ( save for uns 1) this game its like a preview of MHA doesn't give you that much info just the bare minimum.

There isn't a great selection of MHA games already, but this is passable even for a bit of mindless fun. Pretty poor roster of characters, only really covers the absolute minimum you could include from the series first season. The characters that are here are pretty good representations of their abilities but the balance isn't great. You'll probably find yourself gravitating towards the same 3 or 4 characters for most of it.

Going for the Platinum trophy is an absolute slog though. It was only made bearable by spamming Shigaraki's moves to stunlock the CPU. That or using Endeavour who's OP (but also paid DLC).

mind numbing fun in a bad way, i was not alert at all while playing
