The game is a blast to play as always but the progression system is objectively so much worse than Overwatch 1. The new characters are all super fun but genuinely please just bring back the loot boxes and I can't believe I'm saying that.

Womp womp I can imagine all of the studio executives in a room talking about ways to gather engagement for Overwatch again, and they came up with every idea you should not do. Making PvE a focus on the sequel and then NOT following through with PvE is so silly it hurts. It is so uninspired and clearly a cash grab. Never let Activision Blizzard touch a game again.

This game feels like if my weird uncle came to my house, grabbed my dog, and than shot it in the middle of the living room in front of my entire family.
In a world where big publishers are currently competing to make the biggest disappointment in the gaming industry, Activision/Blizzard are far and beyond the winners of this race. What could have been a jewel of competitive gaming history, became the catalyst for the shitshow that is any single multiplayer game out there. The legacy this series has left us has poisoned the well for most likely all eternity. We gotta owe it to Overwatch for ruining not only competitive video games, but how multiplayer video games are designed.

Oh boy, the fall from grace was so sad. This game though, isn't awful. The balancing is better and it's actually fun when you get into it. Won't be as good as GOTY OW1 though.
Super fun on release with friends never played the first overwatch but this one was a lot of fun until I realized it’s a cash grab and you can basically only get cosmetics through money. Also super toxic some times and sweaty

This is the most disapointed I've ever been with a shooter sequel.
But it's still overwatch and in the past year or so (mainly just the past few months) the devs have added a lot and fixed some of the bigger issues with the game. Also Venture is really fun so Idk saves it from being lower
