After 8 years I was finally able to play Portal 2 co-op with my best buddy. They carried despite never playing this game. I really need to get them to play the single player campaign. P-body and atlas are so sweet. This was more difficult than I was expecting it to be. I love silly robots, and mean ones.
It was our first game that we finished together with my boyfriend . It was so much fun
This is Valves poster child in my mind. The Portal series is genuinely some of the most fun single player puzzle games can get.
Best puzzle game. Period.
While I'm VREY adamite that the first game is FAR superior for it's atmosphere, world building, and even story telling to an extent. That doesn't change the fact that this game is just as phenomenal as everyone says it is.
the first one but with even more story and even more puzzles. wheatley is hilarious and the addition of the gels + the tractor beam makes things more interesting. peak shaking head emoji

Probably the Valve game that better translated to consoles, the marketing idea to give you access to a Steam code by buying a copy on console was groundbreaking.

Ahora si, el verdadero ultimo juego del año. Que juegazo, nada que decir. Ojalá pudiera jugar esto por primera vez de nuevo. Me sigo riendo, me sigo sorpendiendo, me sigue fascinando. Uno de los mejores juegos de todos los tiempos sin duda.

the humor is very much the style of the time but i think it holds up theres some serious laugh out loud moments among the "that just happened"s
the puzzles are still so good, there's nothing quite like the "ohhh" moment of when it all clicks
the narrative is great and the performances are perfect
it feels useless saying that you should play this game cus i think most people who have wanted to play it already have but like. if you havent you should play it
