Very good game with a bunch of new cute minigames. It's pretty hard to play without a drawing tablet or something similar (if you're emulating, that is), but with that aside, I really enjoyed this game. Excited to play Megamix now and finally finish the series! (Please give us a new Rhythm Heaven game I BEG YOU)
Not my first play of this game, First play on original hardware more than a decade ago, current play was with the "touchless" romhack.
This game is great, if played on real hardware, in the manner intended. it's packed full of charm and great music. the touch screen controls are great and intuitive, but way too difficult to perform with a mouse on an emulator.
If you're going to play it "touchless" there's still some merit here, though some games are much more difficult, mostly it feels more disconnected.
Highly recommended either way. Best as the second one you play I think.

In the twisted beats of Rhythm Heaven, Light Yagami might find himself out of sync. No Death Note could orchestrate the perfect rhythm this game demands. In the world of catchy tunes and quirky characters, even the God of the New World might take a break from his dark endeavors. Rhythm Heaven would probably be too lighthearted for someone with such a grim worldview. Score: 5/10.
makes me incomprehensibly angry at times but it's got a strong visual style, great music, and best of all: i found it easy to emulate. my big tip for other people who don't have physical hardware: use a drawing tablet if you have one and resize the window to be larger. after that it's just practice.
the flicks are kind of a struggle for me due to hand issues, that i wouldn't be dealing with if i was playing with a stylus on physical hardware like the developers' intended experience, but oh well

Such a unique and addicting game that and endless bag of tricks that kept me entertained way longer than I expected.
The whole game is controlled with taps and flicks of the touch screens and they stuff they managed to do with just that is honestly impressive. The whole game just has so much creativity and charm its really what the DS is all about.
