One of the best beat em ups ever made I never get tired of this game. Playing with a friend especially is a blast, and it was nice showing my gf some of the classics.

i can't even catch a break on the damn elevator

The music for this one is sooooo good.
It's a pretty nice beat em up too, even if I don't like those at all.

Classic beat em up. Looks great, plays great, sounds great. Can’t go wrong with it.

This Shredder's Revenge prequel is awesome!

Sin duda el mejor titulo de Tortugas Ninja!
Coloridos escenarios, uno de los mejores soundtracks, aparicion de la mayoria de los villanos clasicos de la caricatura y mucha pizza para sanar!!!

Fun beat-em-up but very overwhelming

You will wail on a guy to the point where your thumb will hurt. Definitly a quarter drain at the arcade due to the amount of enemies and damage sponges they are. Needs to be played with friend. A lot of charm and personality in the animations though.

beat this recently at the arcade it's been one of my favorites for a long time and it really holds up its an exquisite 2d beat em up and it feels great and there's barely any bullshit

Still a great Beat Em Up. The pinnacle of 90's Beat Em' Ups.

Only 90’s mallrats truly understand.

How is this still fun even as a non-TMNT fan?

Played co-op with my youngest brother at an arcade where you pay some money and get a day pass. Was a fun time, can't imagine doing this with no free-play though.

A great followup to Konami's first Turtles game. It's mostly the same core gameplay with a few improvements, better visuals, same great soundtrack work, and faithful recreation of the cartoon art style.

An awesome adventure to go through. A classic.

Totalmente inferior a sua versão de Snes

Technically played via the Cowabunga Collection on Nintendo Switch.

The Turtles had already made a name for themselves in the arcade department with 1989's TMNT and just two years later they swung their way back into arcades a plenty with Turtles in Time.

Once again that pesky Shredder is up to no good (when has he ever not?) and the Turtles must once again stop him. Only this time those pizza loving aficionados find themselves being thrown back in time and must make it back to the present day all whilst dealing with all sorts of the usual enemies.

Turtles in Time happens to be a big improvement over the first arcade game with it's much smoother gameplay, improved graphics and another jammin' soundtrack indeed. The time travel gimmick is pretty cool too and makes sure that it never gets old either.

A SNES port would eventually follow afterwards featuring a couple of new levels.

What in God's name is that poster with the cheesy ass looking Turtles though?

A very fun Arcade game, I love the posters on the flyer here lol
But yeah a good time and a good concept. Not much else to say.

I first played this in 2019, then replayed it for my 2022 Classic TMNT game marathon, when I played it then I got to the 2020 level and jokingly thought "Wow, that's just a year away, huh?", yeah lol

[Cowabunga Collection]

I had the SNES game in my youth but I don’t think I’ve ever played the Arcade version. It’s a big improvement over the original arcade game. Attacks have more weight to them but it was frustrating that I didn’t seem in full control of what moves I would perform and when (Donatello spent far too much time attacking things behind him, which were often off the screen).
Still, the whole thing was nice and short and sweet. The bosses were real damage sponges though and devoured my credits.

A fun way to kill half an hour. Was kinda shocked at how shorter the arcade version is. I love how crowded and chaotic it can get though.

Spritework and OST went harder than it ever needed to for a silly turtles game but I respect Konami for what they did

HUGE improvement from the first Arcade game. So much fun and I’ll def replay this whenever I can.

While not much more complicated gameplay-wise, the slightly beefed up graphics compared to the first game and whatever small gameplay tweaks there were (i dunno something about it just felt different) make this an absolute joy and one of the best old school beat-em-ups around.
Also the music is amazing holy balls
