well i played as vergil & it made me realize how much i don't like dmc5. no cutscenes so you're just chillin in the scorn-ass tree the whole time. i love the other DMC's art styles with all the beautiful churches & cathedrals.. beautiful cities. i hate meat tree!! vergil has a really fun moveset which almost made it cheese mode. at least i got bury the light.

Badass character
Never got to play as Vergil in DMC5 back when he came out, so it was great to revisit the game with him. Honestly I don't even like him as much as Nero or Dante (not as much attack variety, not huge on the Doppelganger, not patient enough for the Concentration Gauge) but it's a testament to how insanely good this game is that he still manages to be loads of fun. Zooming across the arena with Trick to wipe rooms at lightning speed never gets old, and Summoned Swords might be my favorite "gun" in the series. Bury The Light is the greatest battle theme ever made.
