idk if i played this game or the other one so im reviewing both

I love fighting games. I'm not the best at them, but they're fun! I picked this game up because I like bnha and thought it looked fun. It is, but I can't bring myself to enjoy the story mode. It's just a bit boring to me. I think My Hero is super fun to battle with friends, so if you have it, try inviting some friends/family over. You can also play online, but I've never tried because I'm too much of a wimp that can't get the hang of the controls.

The roster is massive but I really dislike most of the gameplay changes from 1 to 2. Spending your super gauge on dash cancels make for uninteresting combos. The story mode was actually REALLY difficult. The final boss is so AWFUL. I dropped the game out of frustration.

HOWEVER- YEARS LATER- Playing online and learning the tricky combos with each character is a BLAST. This game rocks.

Not really a fan of games based on anime series since I don't really watch them. Kinda got it cause I was a little bit into the show at the time and two of my friends got it. It's a fun casual fighting game but terrible for any kind of competitiveness. The balancing in the game is terrible and some fighters are miles better than others. The campaign was fine and the other single-player content is just ok.
Final score: 6/10

One of the better anime 3D arena fighters released. Loads of characters that any fan would enjoy and the gameplay is pretty fun. Campaign mode could've given more to the player tho. Def a recommendation for any fan of the series.

Also fuck Lemillion

A slight improvement from the first game with a lot more varied roster of fighters to pick from. Still very bare bones and lacking depth when it come to the competitive growth that it could have had and dlc is just more of the same once again.

Pretty okay Arena Fighter i guess

Cool story mode, but playing everything else was grindy and bland. Will probably skip future games from this dev

Your average shonen anime fighting game. Nothing much to say about it really, if you like the anime you'll probably like the game. Otherwise it won't appeal to you at all. It's fun to play with friends, otherwise it's pretty boring

It's definitely a good arena fighting game (so you know, still a mid-to-bad ACTUAL fighting game lmao), something you can play with your mates, especially when you are drinking so you can't play anything that requires a lot of effort, if your a fan of My Hero Academia it's got a good chunk of the characters from the anime and it does justice to their portrayal I guess. It has a lot more going for it than the first game, but god fucking damnit, am I god damn mad that the devs dropped Steam remote play together for no reason.

Switch the combo option to "manual" instead of "normal". It's a whole other game.

It's quite nice to be able to play your beloved characters in this anime. I just had to buy some specific characters, like Hawks and Midnight. While the gameplay mechanics are easy to get around with to be decent, some computer-controlled opponents can kick your butt. I was not able to finish the story as it's basically 1:1 with the anime. A good arena game; nothing too mind-blowing.

and from the first review, an actual step up from the first game. From me, it still weird to put some heroes as DLC, but hey what can you do. Only buy and play this on sale, as for the short time I had with it was worth and would NOT further extend that

Another do not buy at full price. Like the previous game the content in this game is lacking despite it being good content. The story once again can be beaten in around 3ish hours before swapping to the villain side. With dub in the game now at least us dub watchers wont be off put with the dialog. Gameplay and graphics are solid but like the previous game it continues the comic panels that do work but aren't as great as a in game cutscene. It covers the story pretty good up until the end of the shie chissake arc.
I'm not sure if theres an option to use deku with his standard smashes like detriot smash and delaware smash. But you pretty much just use shoot style deku which isn bad but come on now we all wanna detriot smash the crap out of everyone. It does let you use OFA full cowling 100 percent so thats pretty sick but I wish they did that boss fight better it was pretty shit compared to how boss battles are done in UNS
Deep sale fellas. and if you are not a MHA fan its not really worth the time.

It is very mid. It's good to have some dumb fun with but the game isn't great. It's not mechanically deep and the campaign is just kind of alright.

Arena fighter has no business being this fun

There is no skill development between the beginning of the game and competitive and also it’s MHA

The only good thing from my hero

This game doesn't deserve to be this good

As a BNHA fan, it was amazing to play the characters, manga, super powers and fights that I love each and every one of them. I realized that I was improving myself when I performed the fights that I imagined would happen in the anime with other people and as I learned the combos and characters every day. At the end, I couldn't stop myself because I'm a Kohei Horikoshi fan ww.

Jogo de luta genérico de anime parte 2

I heard some nice things about this game about it being a arena/traditional fighter hybrid but that neither group of players was satisfied with it. With the Ultra Rumble brainrot still in effect and a nice discount i decided to give it a chance and it was better than i was expecting. It's 100% a kusoge, but it's a lot of fun to play. It's not super deep but the combo system is good enough for it to not become a button masher, it feels good to control and the characters are fun.
My favorite so far is Mr. Compress, he has some cool meterless combos and and interesting kit.

My only issue is that meter builds up too slowly, supers don't seem to be worth it most of the time over dash cancels.

The game modes are... fine.
Story mode is really lame, i only played it to get some Compress masks and unlock 2 characters.

Mission mode is a grindfest but not terrible.
Why can't i use my custom outfits in this mode?

Arcade i find it to be enjoyable most of the time, i like the little interactions you get after the fight. It's only annoying when you get one of those CPU that counter everything you do frame 1.

Character customization could be better, there are lots of pieces but most of them are recolors and pieces of other characters, it's hard to make something look good.

Overall, it's fun. I like to pick it up when i don't have to much time to play, pick a random character, lab some combos and beat their arcade mode.

I love My Hero Academia, so I was super excited to replay this game and I still really like it, it's fun
