This is potentially my favourite game of all time, with some bias due to sentiment. I have clocked at least 1000 hours on this 30hr RPG across 6 playthroughs, without ever accessing the online features. At one point I'd replayed this game once per year, which makes me want to do it again now. The Unova pokedex contains some of the most creative designs to date (my favourites being zoroark, chandelure, hydreigon) but unlike its predecessor, mixes in the older pokemon in a way that feels natural. It's so cool that I can catch riolu in like the 3rd route of the game! The music is the best this game. It's the graphical peak of the series, with incredibly lively animations and gorgeous spritework. The pacing of the story is strong, the game is a great difficulty for nuzlockes and the postgame is only rivaled by ORAS which came years later. This game squeezed every bit of value out of the DS and is simply perfect for this era of the series. Literally PEAK.

A história acaba não sendo o ponto mais forte diferente de seu antecessor, mas a gameplay e o que faz uma verdadeira JORNADA POKÉMON estão 5x melhores e compensam muito muito mesmo, as melhorias de qualidade de vida e o maior desenvolvimento da região de Unova são DEMAIS.
Black 2 makes a lot of significant improvements that it’s prequel didn’t touch on. Not only with widening the roster of the Unova dex, but they also expanded upon some of the features that they had (rotation and triple battles) as well as added a whole lot of bonus content (PWT, Pokestar Studio and the memory link feature).
This was my first time playing this and it is now considered to be one of my top favorite Pokémon games of all time. 💙

Worthy follow up to the first one. I enjoy the story a little less, but it is still very good, while the introduction of more returning pokemon and much more postgame content makes for a game I can spend a lot of time in.
Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are the second direct sequels in the franchise, the first being Gold, Silver, and Crystal. I prefer Black and White, but these games bring things to the table that the first didn't, so it balances out.
I had the cartridge for this and somehow it got lost, so it was inevitably shelved :( I'll come back one day though! Such a good sequel
Black and White 2 are just so good! I always go back and forth between these and HG/SS for which is my favorite pokemon game.
The sprites and art style are nice and help gen 5 stand out. Unova is also probably the region with the best development.

if i could grade this higher than 5 stars i would. this game changed me. i would kill for a 3D remake or even a sequel or unova prequel.. ANYTHING
Game does story implications to the first games which is very cool, the Pokemon from previous generations are available earlier, the post game is a banger and on paper I’d say this is the number one.

Such an incredible Pokemon game. it cured my cancer, it saved the universe from near destruction, it saved me 15% on my car insurance! [[ no previous elite four rematch battles kinda stinks tho.]]
