I can’t believe that I would end up abandoning a Yakuza game. I am a big fan of this series thus far. I love so much about the franchise…the over the top character, creativity, emotion and simply fun.
I think the action based combat system worked better for me personally. I basically got hung up twice against our favourite korean boi. But the games mechanics are rather ruff, and the motivation to grind isn’t given to me. I tried many jobs but I kinda couldn’t beat him without a massive grind. So you might say its a skill-issue here but many side activities and substories couldn’t impress me either . I feel bad but it just didn’t work out especially when I see the positive reaction it gets. But still kinda cool how the series blew up in the west still proud.
