Extremely cute, charming game with a wonderful soundtrack and artwork. It has some heartwarming moments but it isn't terribly emotionally resonant. Some of the puzzles were fun, but a lot of them didn't explain their instructions well enough or just wanted you to do math. The puzzles also didn't blend into the story well, and there were just a bit too many of them it felt like it was weighing the story down. They also vary wildly in difficulty causing some whiplash and frustration.
Our leading characters are very charming and likable, as is their relationship, but the rest of the cast leaves little to be desired, especially the main villain, who isn't explained and just kind of exists for no reason.
Would recommend, though.

De antemão, sentia uma certa abruptalidade na resolução de todo mistério pela aleatoriedade dos acontecimentos q de início parecem desconexos, mas, claro sem spoilar, tudo é esclarecido com uma simples resposta, algo atrelado aos enigmas onde grande de suas soluções bastam de apenas uma questão de perspectiva em meio a complexidade, variando em dificuldade, alguns mais fáceis e outros q podem te deixar com dor de cabeça e se sentir burro;

cool visual style and great animated cutscenes, you can't come in here assuming that there's only a few puzzles or something, you MUST be here for those puzzles or I don't know why you turned this on. a few here and there had likely unintentionally unclear/confusing paramaters, but not too many. very fun for puzzlers.
Enjoyable game. Puzzles aren't too challenging for the most part - in fact many of them are the sort of stuff your math teacher gives you at the end of the schoolyear when you already got through the entire curriculum. But it's not necessarily a bad thing - it's pretty much perfect if you're looking for something more relaxing.
What really got me though was the story. For a major part of the game it isn't anything to write home about. But the final act is so satisfying, heartwarming and exciting that it's really hard to just ignore this aspect of the game. It even makes some of the gameplay quirks beliveable within the world of the game which I absolutely loved. I also loved the animated cutscenes - they are so well-made and well-voice acted (Luke's accent is so lovely) that they almost feel like a reward for solving the puzzles. With that said - WHY DO THEY PLAY ON THE BOTTOM SCREEN INSTEAD OF THE TOP ONE??? It really takes away from the experience. I also disliked the "see you in the next game"-type villain, but hopefully the next games characterise him a bit better.
Overall it seems like a good starting game for the series. Looking forward to playing the next games.

Replayed this game after many years since it's original release after renting it out from a Blockbuster many moons ago.
100%'ed the game and all of it's puzzles - minus any of the downloadable content I may have missed out on.
I absolutely love some good puzzles and this game is chock full of 'em - very unique game from what I played at the time.
The plot can get lost on you when all the characters ask you to do a favor, and that favor is to solve a brain teaser - but that's what I'm here for anyway :^)
Liked the ending too...was not what I expected from my memories when I first completed the game lol
