SMITE has peaks and valleys. When you find a God or a role you love, its very rewarding learning how to dominate on the field. However, as a MOBA that experiences frequent updates, sometimes the vision of the developers misses the wishes of the players and it can create seasons/patches of monotony and frustration.
A great game to pick up every now and then, however it can be very frustrating on a personal and developmental level.

The MOBA Curse
I really want to like this game but as usual... it's the communities that ruin moba's for me... The idea of playing as mythological deities is awesome and the gameplay is fun, but no one wants you to play the game the way you want... and even if you play their way... they still blame you for things that wern't your fault... shame

A lovely game that I will defend to the death. Like most MOBAs, there's issues. Toxic and weird ass members of the community, balance changes that make you wish you knew what the devs were smoking - oh, and the usual HiRez nonsense. It's a real fun time if a third person MOBA is something that interests you.
