Un juego de carreras, o más bien un juego disfrazado del género de carreras que tenía todo el potencial de ser otra cosa: un juego-mundo-parque de diversiones.
Pero lo que es mundo acá, lo más memorable de la experiencia, se queda corto en el camino por la condescendencia del mapa, que hasta señala los "secretos" a descubrir y porque se nos obliga a una progresión por fases mientras otros cachos de mapa se encuentran bloqueados por absolutamente ninguna razón.
Un videojuego fallido al que le tengo cariño, pero no es bueno.
Ah, y la conducción es de mala a horrorosa, forzadamente multijugador y muy olvidable...

imo best crash game outside of the og naughty dog games. the racing was so fun to do, a lot of fun things and secrets in each of the levels. The skins in this game were also amazing

The platforming is the only moderately fun part, which sucks since the racing is more than half the game. Unfortunately, Radical brought such a gross vibe to the series which ruins any enjoyment that could be had
Playstation 2 is where the Crash Bandicoot franchise went in the wrong direction. This game doesn't even compare to the original CTR.
This game appeared in my collection as a child and no one owned up to putting it there, was happy to have a new game but it really fucked with me.
CTR is still the peak of arcade kart racing games, and it’s sad how it went from that to blatantly copying the gimmick of Double Dash. Overworld stuff is still kinda fun, and none of this stopped me from playing it a shitton as a kid.

There are a lot of racing games out there using different IPs. I honestly can't remember anything that makes this one stand out from the mass. Probably just go play whichever Mario Kart you like the most.

achava esse bem criativo mas lembro que tinha certa dificuldade em algumas partes do mundo aberto por causa da câmera e também por jogar muito novo não sabia direito o que era pra fazer, sendo assim nunca zerei. as corridas eram bem divertidas e a mecânica de fusão de carros era irada. talvez jogando atualmente seria melhor

não lembro de ter concluído esse, porém lembro de gostar bastante dele, espero um dia poder jogar novamente e poder concluir ele.
Um jogo de Kart com mundo aberto e sistema de tag bem legal no meio das corridas, você podia simplesmente fazer uma fusão entre seu kart e de outra pessoa e meio que se aliarem no meio da corrida.
