Overall very fun fighting game with a lot of cool combos, unique characters and a lot of charm.
But didn't have many people to play with and didn't really catch me.
Love Beowulf tho

Pretty fun fighting game that has lore that I'd love to get the complete version of someday. Kind of edgy, but I have a really fond place in my heart for Skullgirls. This game is really an old favorite that I'll play if I feel like practicing a fighting game again.

This is a great fighting game with a ton of character that I highly recommend to people in the space. First of I love how they do the story with it being more character focused, this flashes out characters way better than a netherrealm story or arcade endings. I also love the way the game looks and sounds it's just oozing personality. The fighting is real tight to and real feels like easy to pick up bard to master type stuff. My real only gripe with it (as with most fighting games) is that once your done with the story and arcade, your kinda done there's not a lot of stuff to keep you hooked or draw you back in. Anyways great fighting game, it would be cool if we got a sequel but it's probably not in the cards but yeah

Eu num costumo gostar de jogos de luta, mas skullgirls é tão estiloso que me conquistou, a trilha sonora, animações golpes, tudo é muito maneiro, especialmente pq existe a peacoack.

One of the funnest 2D fighters I've played, and the one that introduced me to inducing rage with grapplers. Very pretty with a great OST. A better game than horny idiots on the internet will have you believe.

Holy cow, was there ever a single happy day in this game's life?

The only traditional fighting game I would enjoy since darkstalkers

Big Band has the same birthday as me. Yay.

this was just not a game for me I think. Nothing wrong with it

If you're playing this game, you're either a horny lil gooner, a lesbian, or a person interested in fighting games with solid foundations and deep combo potential amounting to extremely difficult yet satisfying gameplay. I am all of the above.

played the game cuz of P L O T if ykyk
but turns out this is one of the best fighting games out there

Usually won't put fighting games here since I view those as a far different experience than other games, but whenever I see a clip of this game I wanna learn it. Atm tho my fighting game itch isn't quite there so my want to play this gam isn't there

A beautifully animated fighting game with a good amount of single player content.

awesome art and gameplay but online is a bit super brutal compared to the level of the highest ai lol

I'm pretty bad in fighting games but this is pretty fun! Lots of hot women in this game

Haven't played it too much, but the little I've played with friends has been pretty fun. I also like hot women so that's a bonus.

a good, fast fighting game that I go back to every once in a while to press buttons on against friends.

My first and favorite 2d fighter

Shout out to my people at Skullgirls Latam, wassup baby I see you, you know what you post on Facebook GO EASY ON THE YOUNG ONES

This game is beautiful, but pretty tricky to play "well". The cast is small but all the characters feel well rounded

Remmìembers when this game got incredibly negative review bombing from Twitter dudes because of it decided to censor/ remove some more controvertial imaginery? That was a weird time....

Btw I always respected the heck outta Skullgirls: it takes a formula that was really rare to see at the time of its original release (there weren't a lot of new tag-team fighters when it first showed up) and expands upon it by presenting an incredble artstyle that homages classic cartoons in an incredible way: every frame of animation is stunning, and can rival Juggernauts like Darkstalkers and KOF in terms of their presentation.

The presented world and characters, are also incredibly solid: able to combine the goofiness of a classic animated show with some darker tones and settings: it's a fun time that involves a really cool story and "lore" as well.

THe fighting game formula is also incredibly solid: this games feels lke a love letter to the versus series and other capcom titles, and you can feel it in the bombastic gameplay and engaging tag system, but that also doesn't shy away from giving interesting movesets to the characters.

THe only major issue with the game is the way smaller roster, which is an important aspect especially in a fighter based on tag teams: even if every character is treated with an incredible amount of care in their animations and balancing, there is not a lot to choose from with a roster of only 18.... luckily for use DLCs have been out for a while, and are able to offer some of the most requested newcomers from the community.

SKullgirls hascemented itself as a solid series for a reason: it's a great fighting game that combines a lot of things that made similar titles great, with an incredible presentation and memorable artsyle: it you are an MVC or a Darkstalkers fan, you cannot miss this.

(Also I main Beowulf and Cerebella, absolutely adore these 2)

I only played this game because I got it for free.

Uuuuuh....I suck at fighting games so I only played it like twice...But the girls are pretty!

This games so good it almost makes me wanna get good at fighting games, almost.

The only fighting game I put any significant amount of time into. It's really good.
