Unable to match the high bar set by Uncharted 2, this is still a stellar effort.
The graphics are really good. Characters and voice acting are as good as ever.
The set pieces are many and impressive.
The story is weaker than Uncharted 2, but it is not bad.
Some parts drag on a little, but it is a great game

Joguem Uncharted 3 Drake's deception.
In one of the behind-the-scenes featurettes they talk about their creative process. Basically, they explain how they came up with ideas about cool set peace scenarios first and then they tried to build a game around those scenarios. That's exactly what it felt like and I don't mean it as praise. Uncharted 3, to me, is a bunch of, admittedly, really cool and technically impressive set peaces, held together by a somewhat disjointed plot. The pirate section is the perfect example. Very neat concept, fun to play and a technical showcase, but it comes completely out of left field and feels tacked-on story-wise. The game lacks the cohesion of the second installment, which makes it less enjoyable overall, even though many of the individual elements are objectively improved.
I read online that the actor who plays Cutter had to leave the project early due to his schedule, which lead to the story being rewritten last minute. Maybe it would have turned out better, if it hadn't been for that. Maybe not. Either way, Uncharted 3 is still lots of fun - it's just not as good as Uncharted 2.

I don’t really know if this is my favorite of the three uncharted games I have played recently. I know it’s better than the first but it’s hard for me to put this below uncharted 2 but also above uncharted 2. I think the story in this is worse compared to uncharted 2 but not a bad story. I think this game has better set pieces and fights but I also think a lot of the locations were less interesting than uncharted 2. In the end I think both uncharted 2 and 3 are great games.
This is my personal favourite out of the original trilogy.
The story definitely lacks a bit compared to the second game, which I can see being the main reason why it's usually more highly praised than this one. The story is still not bad here and it has some genuinely good moments especially in the beginning of the game. The good moments are just sadly soured a bit by some questionable writing and plot holes.
Everything else in this game is a straight upgrade in my eyes. Better spectales, better level variaty, more enjoyable combat and combat encounters and improved melee combat with some other small tweaks. Even puzzles are an improvement and I finally got through Uncharted game without watching puzzle walkthroughs.

The only mainline Uncharted game I hadn't played until recently!
I can see why it's a divisive entry. The plot is kind of a mess and some of the combat sequences near the end of the game severely overstay their welcome.
But man, it is STILL so breathtaking to play through some of these sequences. Escaping the burning mansion, the sinking ship, the plane crash, and the horseback chase sequence are all stunning moments that perfectly showcase what makes Uncharted special and still worth playing all these years later.
Also, everything with Sully is genuinely touching and is almost the sole reason this chapter in the story matters.
