A great example of what FPS games can be. Fast paced fluid combat that challenges the cover system that dominated much of the decade it came out in to make something fresh and fun while drawing on the strengths of its history. Its just an example of something like Doom being timeless.

My only complaint is that I cant shake the sense that there is so much untapped potential, which will probably be rectified when I play Doom Eternal
