The story and base gameplay are pretty fun, the controls actually hurt to play. The writing and voice acting really does make me cringe at points though, and the flying sections are incredibly overrated.
The online multiplayer had no right being as fun as it was though, and a port that fixed the controls would easily bump this up to a 3 star.

God, the ground controls are bad. They don't just "take time to get used to." They're bad. Air controls are okay. Dialogue is funny in a few cases, but mostly just very, very annoying.
