Metroid Dread is the perfect combination of all the other Metroid games with some incredibly interesting new features of it's own. It takes the combat from Samus Returns and adds just that much more polish to it to make it feel wonderful. The movement overall is to die for and really makes the game what it is. The items are fantastic with a bunch of old ones returning and just as many new ones coming in, with my new favorite item in the series is from this game. The story is on the same level as Fusion's for me so is overall really great. Everything else about the game is done incredibly well too, exploration, EMMI sections, difficulty, etc. Overall, please buy this game I want to see what MercurySteam can do next with the series.
