This game came at the perfect time. A controversial, but to me, a well done departure from Yakuza's brawling foundation(even though if you ask me Yakuza was already an JRPG but I digress), this game is an wild ride of fun RPG turn based battles, a delightfully dramatic story, and charming characters, including the most positive and lovable main character in a game like this yet. The perfect game that came at the height of the pandemic, and it remains a fantastic experience.

Killer7 I feel is the type of game you'd present to a grand council that is trying to determine if games are art. It's a game that's paranoia inducing, complex, political, literary, and just damn cool. It's a metaphysical mindfuck the whole way through, but it sticks in your mind like a delightfully demented plague, and you will be sure to remember it.
