"Do you like hurting other people?"

This game deserves it's praise. No wonder it essentially helped kicked off the indie game renaissance we're in today. A neon lit, blood drenched story, and similarly brutal but twitchy arcade gameplay equals an amazing game.

The absolute wasted potential of this game really saddens me. The only good thing about this game is Connor's story, which I think they should have made the whole game centered on. Everything else is just seriously bleh narrative wise.

I think objectively Tekken 7 is fantastic. I've always loved the characters, style, lore, aesthetic and quirks of the series. It isn't my favorite fighting game, simply because I'm too used to 2.5D fighters, but it''s still something to get into even if you're a newbie or pro.

It's funny, despite how my tastes with games change over time, Shadow of the Colossus stays stuck in my brain over and over again. Something about it is so mysterious and enigmatic. The Forbidden Lands(the main setting of the game), feel alive but filled with mystery, the main narrative in minimalist but profound, and the feeling you get when seeing the first Colossus, this massive towering thing, is a fantastic experience. Play this game, it's worth everything you've heard. Words can't fully describe it.

I love this installment of Mega Man. It's so bright and colorful, brimming with that Mega Man charm. It's hard as balls but satisfying. The added voice acting(actually good this time), gives the characters tons of charm. Love this one.

This game isn't perfect by any means but it's a fun and solid horror experience. It's kinda tropey and the story is a bit wack but it really revel's in it's inspirations, and it makes for a bloody fun romp through madness. I quite love the absolute insanity it just kinda rolls with.

Well I used to really like this game but I've kinda gotten less favorable to it over time. Still hella fun though. Weighty, bloody melee combat(kinda janky however), a rich resort setting, and 4 player co-op. Story is bleh. Check it out if you want to play the precursor to a game like Dying Light.

This is a simply fantastic sci-fi mecha story, filled with lovable, developed characters, time travel shenanigans, and rad RTS style mecha battles, all with that signature Vanillaware artstyle that makes it both pop, and makes it feel nostalgic. Definitely check this one out.

A full collection of all three Jak games gives you tons of bang for your buck(kinda literally since Jak 2 has GUN).

What a wonderful platformer. It's so much fun to play and so simple. It's a classic for a reason. I love the visuals and setting, the characters and music breathe life into this world and exploring it is tons of fun.

Gothic SHMUP? Check

Rad, grotesque artstyle? Check

Addictive arcade gameplay? Check

Maid femboy? Check

Evil Santa? Check

This game is fire. And it's good value since you get both Deathsmiles games with updated visuals and extra modes. Check it out.

The best PS2 game I've played that was made in 2022. Considering the Gungrave games were made for tired Japanese salarymen to play after coming home from work, I'd say it's still worth it for how damn fun it is. It's that good ol PS2 action game jank, but it's so much fun to play. Check it out for a fun throwback.

The only thing I know for real is that this game FUCKS and you should play it NOW.

It's one of the best games ever made if you ask me. The moment Sonic Hedgehog asked where that big drip was going, I was hooked. Aesthetic is also peak dreamcast go play it or else.

More fun than it has any right to be. Story is bare, but gameplay is fast, fun and bloody, and the characters are pretty fun too, despite pretty much just being walking fanservice, but you know what? I'm cool with that. Great game.

Edit: Kagura is my wife.
