If I hadn't played this couch co-op with friends, my score probably would have been much lower. The first third of the game teeters between boring and insufferable since it's heavily focused on either character interactions or general meandering which I personally thought were the weakest parts of the game. Once the action starts and you get more into the story, it becomes a lot more interesting especially around chapter 7 which is when a lot of the plot is revealed and everything really starts to tie together. Overall this game just feels very derivative of Until Dawn which sounds really pretentious but it genuinely just felt like Supermassive took their success with UD and got lazy with it (I say this without having played any of the Dark Pictures Anthology games).
