Interesting combat that's fun depending on the enemy. Probably the best story on all the final fantasy series, but you wouldn't know that (or understand WTF if going on) unless you play the DLC and watch the movie (or at least play Episode Ardyn).

GREAT game but awful, awful pacing. Story parts are TOO long, and if your game is going to focus so much on story, then it better be superb. Too much exposition that doesn't even explain what's going on or develop its characters properly. You're getting on a groove with the combat and you just want to keep going at it but now you gotta go through 20 minutes of story before being able to do a mission to keep the action going.

Great metroidvania. The story would've been a 10 had they not horrible rushed the ending.
