A vertical shmup by Konami that in some ways reminds me of Compile's Aleste series. It's got 3 different weapons you can switch to, a bomb by pressing the change button while holding shoot button, and there's even a mode where collecting 5 blue jewels will get you this super powerful form for a short limited time.
The game is one of the better looking shmups for the consoles with some impressive scenery pieces throughout. The framerate isn't the best but not horrible. It's also a co-op game so bring a friend if you want. It's also not too challenging and do the konami code on the title screen if you want 15 lives. Give it a try if you want, not a lot of people give this one attention probably due to it being Japan only. It may not be anything too outstanding but it's still very good and fun, typical of Konami at this time.
