Alright, this will be a long one so let's just start with the pros.

The gameplay is very satisfying, parrying the attack of your enemies, using smooth combos to break their armor, slashing them to 200 pieces with blade mode, and extracting their electro lights. Or you can do stealth too.

The boss fights are just something else. You literally throw a 1000-ton robot into the air and slash its arm, and jump from missile to missile to finish it while the music bangs in the background (In the tutorial boss). I think the composer of this game is a gift from god because he created not just one, but seven of the most banger music to ever exist in a boss fight. The music's lyrics tell the story of the bosses, and they are pretty interesting too. You are not just fighting empty cyborgs, they all have morals and backstories. They are not perfect but all of them serve a purpose to the game and because of the music and unique characters, it's really fun to fight with them.

This game has the coolest moments, the most memorable quotes, the best final boss (don't you dare spoil it), and of course, THE MEMES. You just MUST PLAY this game just for them.

Alright, unfortunately, this game is not perfect.

To everyone who says that the game is too hard, yes it is absurdly hard in the higher difficulties. And it is harder if you just go straight into button mashing. If you don't strategize and master the mechanics (parrying, using techniques like defensive offensive, ripper mode, movement, etc.), you will be stuck in a corner getting hit every second. Even if you play strategically it will take a few or even more tries to get past some levels.

This game just said: "Making the mother of all games here Jack, can't fret over every detail" and made the most shitty enemies and levels imaginable to humankind. Some of the enemies just suck, and there are like 10 enemy kinds in the whole game and halfway through the game, they will just get reskinned.

The game has too many cutscenes but %90 of those are really cool and fun to watch (you can skip them ofc). The voice calls are a little bit annoying but you can fast-forward them too so I don't see much of a problem.

Well, I think that's it. Thanks for reading and if you didn't play this game, play it or I will find your address and make you play it. I spent 40 minutes just writing this. Because it's worth it.

Obviously, this game is not for everyone. You have to be patient and have the time & equipment to be able to enjoy this game.

If you have them, this game will be just fun.

Truly a special game for me. The music is pretty good and atmospheric, the art is amazing, there is so much thought put into the world design, the character design is wholesome, the mechanics are basic and fun, and the gameplay follows the same.

With these, you will be dragged into the unexplored world of Hallownest.
