The best recreation of Konoha and the og Naruto story. Several other Naruto games have allowed for free roam in Konoha but none of them can match the fun and satisfaction that this game provides. Fantastic gameplay tailored to things like hand signs and chakra control. Not as grand as the later UNS games but a better gameplay experience by far.

Everything that its sequel is except a little bit jankier. Slowly winning over the approval of all the villagers through side quests provided a great sense of progression, and exploring Konoha is only topped in fun by its sequel.

The best of the UNS series, only slightly beating out UNS4. The graphics style and epic cutscenes are an amazing way to relive the height of the Shippuden storyline. Combat system is endlessly fun and easy to learn. It's a damn shame that only UNS1 attempted any kind of true free roam though.

The best fighting mechanics and most balanced roster of any Naruto game. Other games do things like story, free roam, and side content better, but if you're just looking for the best Naruto fighter, your search stops here.

A solid game with a lot of lovingly crafted details that I really appreciate. Story mode is pretty awful though and Konoha is so empty. Shame because Naruto's moveset in free roam is buttery smooth and a joy to control.
