Not a very good PC port, but once I'd installed a few fixes, it was a very enjoyable experience. I wouldn't consider myself a horror fan, but this game was great. It's very well designed and (with one or two exceptions) everything is executed perfectly.

The atmosphere is really well done, the monster design is excellent, and there is a lot of variety with the weapons. The core gameplay (shooting off limbs) is a great concept and they really did it justice. The difficulty curve is good and the game always feels challenging, even once you've upgraded your weapons. The story is pretty good, not super deep but enjoyable, and the level design/environmental storytelling is really well done. There are a lot of memorable moments.

My main complaint would be that the level structure is pretty cliche and gets repetitive - you always need to fix something/turn something on/make a detour before you can actually complete the objective. There's also a single specific section (I think it's in chapter 4) that attempted something different gameplay-wise and completely fell flat. It has a really solid ending though, and is the perfect length IMO.

It's a great game, and if you're even slightly interested I'd recommend it. Take a look at the PCGamingWiki for some fixes if you're getting it on PC.
