I'm genuinely baffled by how many people dislike this game. It's an older game so there will be obviously be some QoL issues but I can look past those because well it's literally an older game? The combat isn't anywhere near as bad as people say, yes it's not as good as the other 3 that I've played but it's not bad. And well the story was great, people have issues with the pacing but well I enjoyed the orphanage stuff, like that was kinda part of the point of the game, Kiryu starting up the orphanage. I also think the antagonist was excellent. The game also had some of my favourite substories.

Genuinely confused by the dislike for this game, I think it's great lol.

Excellent game, massive step up from Kiwami 1 in terms of side content such as the much better sub stories, bringing back the cabaret club mini game, the clan creator stuff and I thought the story was a step-up too. Y0 is still my favourite one so far, but Kiwami 2 is still one of my favourite games in general now. I would say however the new combat isn't as fun as the ones from Y0 and K1 but it's still pretty fun nonetheless. Also the Majima side story was pretty great, a bit short but the closure it provided from Y0 as well as how it tied into the main story for K2 was very nice.
