I don't think the combination of immersive sim experimentation and survival horror's really scarce resources and save points really works, especially when those immersive sim tool-object interactions don't seem to work as consistently as the games wants you to think with its "if you think of something it will probably work :))))" loading screen hints. It feels really bad when you spend your precious items on a plan that doesn't work and have to consider whether to keep going or load a save from 15 minutes ago. Even worse when the monster shoves you so hard you clip inside a wall and have no choice but to load the save from 15 minutes ago. Idk, it is interesting and maybe it gets better. Might give it a shot some other time.
