I really hate how good Ubisoft is at building these skinner-box open worlds that just beg you to check all of their boxes. I don't love this game, but I would be lying if I said I don't really like it. It's addictive, the combat is just engaging enough, and there's just enough to the upgrade system that it keeps me wanting to get more stuff and level up more. The ultimate podcast game, basically.
