This game stands the test of time in most aspects and it’s clear to see how much it’s influenced many different games that came after it. I wanted to see just how good this game was before I touched the Remake and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it is to play, the story is simple but interesting, the characters are funny and endearing, the level design is fun to explore (backtracking is required in some areas), the puzzles 90% of the time hit the mark by being challenging but not ridiculous and the combat mechanics (despite being a bit dated) were fun once you get into the rhythm of it.

P.S if you want to one shot bosses use a rocket launcher they’re expensive but absolutely worth it.
