The Lake is the second game in the Cube Escape series and seems more like a small follow-up to Seasons rather than a full event.

Once again, the game comes with a dark atmosphere that most seldom manage to reach. The gameplay of course involves a Point-and-Click puzzle system, though it's much easier in this game than in the first. A large focus on this one comes from the repetitive use of the fishing rod, which ended up removing the majority of actual logical thinking. I will say though the final lock is kind of interesting, besides that, I wish this utilized more of the concept explored in Seasons.

I do think the length makes this absolutely pale in comparison to the first game, so I would only recommend it if you're actually playing the whole series.
