Journey is the best indie game I have ever played. This is seriously the “Strand-Type” game Kojima thought he was making with Death Stranding. I went into Journey without knowing anything about it, and I’m grateful I did–it absolutely floored me. The seamless incorporation of other players into each game is the best cross-playthrough multiplayer interaction mechanic I’ve ever seen. I was completely unaware that the other Traveler I was interacting with was a real person until my sister pointed out how human they were acting and then looked it up to confirm. It’s only 2 hours long, and I have more positive things to say about it than most other games I’ve played. Journey is an absolute masterpiece that puts other, less ambitious titles to shame. Just a shame that it's short.
