This was by far my least favorite final fantasy. A game that started off decently strong but then fell the fuck off. Start of the game was hype, I mean HYPE. The music, the fights, the story, all fucking hype. The battle system was pretty good from the start, pretty average and really seemed more like a devil may cry thing (from what I heard from other people). The few boss fights was sweet, and the overall monster designs are sick. The story was also pretty hype with Clive accidentally killing his own brother and their mother betraying her own kingdom. And the MUSIC, OH THE MUSIC IS SO GOOOD. Then after a couple of hours it all started to fall off. Though the thing of getting all the other EIkons abilities through the story is cool, the battle system is not really all. Maybe I'm just not utilizing it to its best ability but it wasn't all that intriguing to use. The gear and leveling progression are pretty straightforward
You just go up from one weapon to the next with not a lot of options. Grinding is really just doing a side quest or a hunt, which both suck ass. story and its progression started to get really repetitive and boring, especially the side quests. There are some good characters like Joshua (my pretty boy), Cid, Torgal (yes I'm adding the dog) but most of the characters and antagonists were forgettable (except Ultima because he's so hawt). And Jill's and clives romance was not really all that (in all honestly I just see Jill as just there). The only thing I can still see good is the boss fights BUT The EIkon boss fights suck ass and the music. That being said, Joshua is cute and Ultima is hot

Can't say much since I've haven't played in years (and technically haven't finished because I got spoiled) other than that, I can really fuck with the battle system. I don't think I've seen a 4 person battle system that was more fun than 15's. My favorite thing about it was the links, its fun seeing the chemistry from the group in battle. The friendship between the 4 characters is also amazing, it feels like a real friend group. And we see it all throughout the story. That's all really all I can say, I would replay the game but when i did, it kind of felt blander than when I first played it

I don't give a fuck what anybody says best final fantasy of all TIME!!! first and favorite final fantasy and it will stay my favorite! Starting off the visuals for the games time are honestly STUNNING I mean just look at some of the clips and you'll see. The music is genuinely one of the best osts ive listened too, saying this at an unbiased standpoint that shit is top 5. All the characters (not snow fuck you) in the game are wonderful are pretty fucking cool (bias as FUCK for my boy sazh) The gameplay mechanics are def one of my favs, the paradigm system is just awesome and a unique (Imo since ive haven't seen anything like it) battle system, though there are some changes to be had with it. If this game had a remake I would defiantly add the option to switch characters like ff7 did but other than that its a great game mechanic. Level design wise I kind of agree with it not having an open world, im fine with ff13 not having an open world but I would like it if the levels were bigger sometimes (and had more loot) Talking about equipment, im also kind of not a fan of. This really goes to how you upgrade it, it seems you have to grind a lot to upgrade your gear and how you level it up is also weird. sometimes I just end up not paying attention to my gear and more towards general leveling. The story is decent, i would be glazing it but i kind of forgot about it. Overall my favorite final fantasy game, haters can go die in a ditch
