A solid action game that draws inspiration from God of War and Shadow of the Colossus. Also, probably the best 3D Castlevania so far.
It starts up a tad slow because at first you have almost no combos, but it gets better as the game goes on and you unlock more stuff. That being said, after playing it I was completely sick of QTEs.
In terms of the presentation, the art style is stellar and the story has some cool references to the original timeline. By contrast, the music is super generic.
